Sunshine is the founder of Illuminate and a passionate recovery mentor who has been walking her own path of sobriety since October 2019. After discovering that traditional recovery programs didn’t align with her spiritual journey as a witch, Sunshine created a safe and empowering space for sober witches. She uses tools like The Witch’s 13 Steps to Recovery, live workshops, and the Sober Witch Life mobile app to help individuals reclaim their power and embrace magick as a transformative force. Sunshine’s mission is to walk alongside others as they create the fulfilling lives they deserve.
Daniel Leyten: The Healing Painter
Daniel is a self-taught artist whose journey of recovery is rooted in the transformative power of painting. After years of struggling with alcohol addiction and its impact on his life and family, Daniel found healing in art. Through every brushstroke, he was able to process pain, rediscover beauty, and turn sorrow into purpose. At Illuminate, Daniel offers his story and creative insights as a source of inspiration, showing others how art can become a powerful tool for self-discovery and emotional healing.
Kimberly: The Chaos Witch in Recovery
Kimberly is a recovery ally who embraces the beauty of chaos and the power of magic in her healing journey. As both an addict and an enabler in her past, she understands the complexities of addiction from multiple perspectives. Kimberly incorporates tarot, pendulum work, and kitchen magic into her daily practices, blending spirituality with harm reduction. A clinical social worker with expertise in crisis intervention, Kimberly brings a compassionate and eclectic approach to recovery, helping others find balance and strength in their own unique paths.
Ruby Starseed: The Energy Sourceress
Ruby is a Holistic Psychotherapist, Spiritual Integration Coach, and ordained Priestess dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their authentic selves. Known for her intuitive approach, Ruby blends sound healing, cord cutting, energy clearing, and resilience coaching to empower recovery journeys.
Though Ruby hasn’t faced drug or alcohol addiction, she deeply understands addictive tendencies and provides tools to help clients break free. In Illuminate’s Recovery Coven, her sound healing sessions help members realign energy, find balance, and embrace their most vibrant selves.
