Dr Simon Duan is a scientist-turned consciousness researcher. He originated the concept of the “Platonic computer” that is made by, of, with and from consciousness. In this new postmaterialist science paradigm, mind and matter are derived from consciousness via platonic computation.

Dr Duan came from China to the UK to study in the 1980s. After receiving a PhD in Materials Science from Cambridge University, he worked for many years in research and development, technology commercialisation and management consultancy in the UK and China. He has long-standing interests in paranormal research and is a past vice president of the Chinese Parapsychology Association. He is founder and CEO of Metacomputics Labs and an adjunct professor at Sofia University.

Sunshine   15:10

Welcome everyone to deepest spiritual healthy, I should say maybe Welcome back even we are your co hosts sunshine, the pink here at psychic medium,

Graham Skidmore  15:46

and Graham, the self proclaimed breaker of mold and builder of bridges. Yeah,

Sunshine   15:51

where we’re reminding everyone if you are listening to this for the first time, if you happen to stumble across US, you need to go out and check any of the other podcasts episodes that are out there. We always have on some really incredible guests. Going into some absolutely amazing topics. We’re on all the major platforms, like subscribe, do all that kind of great stuff so you don’t miss out on any of the new ones coming out. And today’s today’s guests today we’ve got an incredible individual I know. You know, I think they’re fine, but I’m always so excited with the guests. your deepest spirituality name just holes in the most unique humans that I think we could possibly find. So we’re gonna get introduced here in a moment, but of course, let’s go ahead everyone if you’ve been here before, you’re gonna know what’s up next and this is our opening ritual. If you are able to close your eyes safely, meaning do not do this while you are driving or trying to walk or anything of that nature. But if you can just close your eyes just for a moment. And take a deep breath in and exhale out. Just release everything because we’re going to be right here. We’ve got maybe 45 minutes to an hour and a half. Just really great content and we want you right here with us. Take another deep breath in and exhale out. As you do I want you to imagine a white beam of light extending from the crown of your head, the top of your head all the way up into the sky above that white beam of light extends all the way through whatever maybe the building the ceiling, the trees all the way up past the clouds at the upper atmosphere of the Earth, past the moon that keeps going all the way past outside of the Milky Way past the other galaxies it keeps extending up and up further and further. Just as though like you’ve had your finger on a scroll button, it just keeps expanding. farther and farther, until that white beam of light extends all the way beyond where we could possibly comprehend at the very end. Where that beam of light sits a white star I want you to take notice that white star it’s twinkling, turning or pulsating. Deep breath in and just watch how it responds has to do when you exhale. Is that point star is representative if your higher self the part of you that is divine. And as you take notice of your white star I want you to look across directly in front of you and you’re gonna see another star there. That star that stars pink, and it’s dancin and turn in and that star represents my higher self. And as you take notice of my higher self and your Higher Self you slowly watch as a silvered thread extends out from the middle of each of the stars and slow towards each other. Getting closer and closer until that silver thread finally connects and now your higher self and my Higher Self are connected. And the moment you notice that you take a look around and you start to watch all of these other stars appear. All these other stars representative all of the other higher cells if any other human walks this earthly plane and just as you take a look at all of these stars, the sea of stars around you you watch as each and every one of them begin to connect all of these stars connected by this soul. This is the representation of the collective consciousness, all connected all of us joined in one way, shape or form. Taking another deep breath in and exhaling out. I want you now to come back to your star. Now we’re going to follow that white beam of light all the way back down to your body here. Coming all the way down through all Cosmos through all of the galaxies into the Milky Way. All the way passing all of the planets passing the moon back into the Earth’s atmosphere down through all of the clouds. Roll the skies through whatever is right above your head back into your crown. And here we are all right here present connected. And I’m going to count backwards from three to one and as we hit one eyes and take notice in our surroundings. Three Two and one anyone know their deep breath in and exhale out. Oh my goodness. I’m incredibly excited for today’s guests coming here. dialing in with us from the UK. It’s the afternoon for our dear friend Simon do i pronounce this I should have asked before is it Duan? Yes, please. Yeah Simon dwad Super excited to have you here today. Welcome to the deepest spirituality as we start with everyone. We would love to welcome you in and hear what attracted you What drew you to the deepest spirituality podcast? Why did it resonate with you, Simon?

Simon Duan  22:18

Oh, thank you for having me. It’s such a pleasure to join you today. So, just a little bit about myself. I’m a scientist by training. And I came to the UK as a student in 1980s. So I came as a student from China, and I finished my education with a degree in material science. I did the material science, PhD in Cambridge. And so after that I worked in industry for dozens of years doing research and development. So my train is really material science. So I’m supposed to be a materialist scientist. But however, things changed in early 2000 when I encountered some spiritual experience. Basically, I encountered witchcraft. Yeah, so that’s one of your pop pick. Yeah. So that changed my worldview. Yeah, I used to be a material material.

Sunshine   23:45

I know I’m fair. By that little note there you know about an earthly earthly role. material scientist, right. I’m all about what is on this earthly plane and what I can create with it. Yes,

Simon Duan  23:59

that’s right. That being said, I

Graham Skidmore  24:01

gotta tell you, Sam, and I didn’t see that one coming. That was a great plot twist to start this podcast.

Simon Duan  24:09

Yeah, um, so my materialist worldview was shattered. Mainly because in my heart, I’m still a scientist. Yeah. I have curiosity to understand how the universe works. But my training doesn’t really work. If I encounter witchcraft. Yeah, so this actually triggered my curiosity and fascination. And also, yeah,

Sunshine   24:48

I stumbled onto witchcraft, Simon, you can’t you can’t gloss over it. How do you stumbled on to that? I am.

Simon Duan  24:55

Um, yeah, I used to in my work. I used to travel to China regularly and during one of my business trip in Beijing, my wisdom start to play up. It becomes very painful. Yeah. And I went to the conventional dentist, and I was told it’s quite complicated case because you’re so deep. I need actually a general anesthetic. It’s a lot of African. Yeah, and one of my friends told me Oh, why don’t you go to see this dentist? Out of curiosity, I just followed him i He took me to this place in the suburb of Beijing. And when I enter into this clinic, the war is full of photos of celebrities, and also political leaders, even the member of Communist Party Politburo. They all have the photo is Him because they all went there have their tooth taken out. I thought oh my god, this is encouraging. So yeah, let’s do for let’s go for it. So what he did very simple. It just use a priestess to pick them up effortlessly. That’s some discomfort. Drastically painful. And now we went lunch together during lunch, I asked him what the hell did you do to me? What happened? He said I have a incantation. Yeah, you know incantation is like a spell. So it’s it’s a five syllable incantation. I use that to loosen my patient’s teeth. So I take them out effortlessly. And that this incantation has been passed on from my families for many generations. And so this triggered my curiosity and fascination in non physical science. And AI he does it daily. In his clinic, this is the mountains of cheese Yeah, all taken out by him. And and

Sunshine   27:37

wait a second. He’s saved seeds T. Yeah. Oh, you better always make sure to pay those bills and treat him well.

Simon Duan  27:48

Yeah, that’s right. Yeah. Half of his patients actually those who has been to the conventional clinic and have half the teeth taken out. Yeah, they have a route left in the gum. And then then this is a hopeless I don’t know what to do. And if they go to his place, he took him out effortless. Some of them actually pop out. Yeah, well, he used his magic. So

Sunshine   28:26

it was amazing. So you’re like minds blown. You know, you go have dinner or you have lunch with him? What happens? Life after like

Simon Duan  28:46

well, I’ll continue with Corrado i but after that I spent all my spare time off duty time, actually, to investigate paraNormals Yeah, I got involved in a paranormal research. Cycle circly In China, and I visited many people, many witch doctors. Many people can do all sorts of different magic. It’s a real magic. I mean, it’s not a stage magic. And those people still exist. And if you see them and they can show you all the things this brought up my horizon. Yeah, into spirituality. Because materials science has no way to explain all those phenomenas Yeah, including ESP ESP. I mean, remote viewing I’m sure you will know already. But this is very prayer, luminary psychic ability and mind reading. Yeah. And to be material scientists. I’m really more interested in physical phenomena. Physical parallels. Yeah. Like teleportation. Like manifestation. Like photography. Yeah. And some people can project their mind image into camera to film expose. Without using the shutter. And us there’s actually one of the casing 60s If you look up the thought horriffic Thought photography or you will find people see hate it’s photography. But in China, there’s a lot more people can do that. Yeah. So

Sunshine   30:56

do you have a perspective on that? Simon? Right. Do you have a perspective on why it’s more prevalent over in in China versus like the US or maybe in some of the areas

Simon Duan  31:10

traditionally, China has been form of this psychic, which craft actually I mean tall is tradition. They have systematic disability, actually. Yeah. If you read history books throughout the history, there’s many cases recording recorded the cases. Yeah. Although it’s still rare, because China has such a big population. You have many cases. Yeah. Even percentages low. You still have many cases throughout the history and is a proper recordings office record, recorded those cases. And so there’s also systematic training from Taoism tradition. And Qi Gong practice. Yeah.

Sunshine   32:08

Oh, Eastern spirituality to me has embraced more of these practices than any like, you start moving over into the West. You’re getting into a lot more of the organized religions that shut these things down.

Simon Duan  32:21

That’s right. That’s right. Yeah. Shut

Sunshine   32:23

down.

Simon Duan  32:24

Yeah. But I think the Eastern religion, I mean, Buddhism, for example, still see this as a distraction. Yeah, yeah. They want to saw the word attain enlightenment and they treat this as a distraction. But though isn’t more to those phenomena. So that actually the the train the in Chinese medicine there’s a different degree of medication in Chinese medicine tradition. Yeah. That the highest level of Chinese medicine doctor actually psychic people. Yeah, they can see through your object. They can see where the problem is, and they can sit and even now today I have visited one guy. He can actually not only detect the tumor, he can make it shrink, as well as grow at will. Yeah, many thought were breast cancer patients. That went to his place and they just ask another person to touch the tumor. Why he’s doing his practice thing soft and get things smaller until it disappears

Sunshine   33:59

when you’re going to change something in

Graham Skidmore  34:04

you know, yeah, trying to think how to phrase it. You know, it’s interesting as you say these things because you know, at this point, you know, in my own journey I my my reaction as you say this is that I’m more surprised that people are surprised by these abilities, versus it being not well of course, that makes sense. Right meaning, right, like for example, my so my personal belief system is that there is an intelligent design behind these I forget about naming, right, but there is just, you know, stuff that there’s logic to keep things together right. And as a result of that, it’s logical then that beings we’re not beings were created to be able to have a support each other through community and otherwise, beings were not created to somehow have to be forced to rely on hierarchies or electric. Chair right, so to me, I go, we had only make sense that humans can help each other this way. That’s how we’re built to help each other. So anyway, I guess, why do you coming from the scientific community, you know, in a big battle, what do you think is what’s the biggest challenge to the adaption of that being more of the status quo is it that my, my belief is that people are concerned about that being the status quo, because it means it can’t be commercialized consciousness can’t really be commercialized and monetized in that respect as a product and so because it can’t be controlled, there’s a certain fear of it right? With with what with with because of the unknown, and so that that fear of the unknown and not the ability to not be able to control it creates a I guess I call it a struggle with belief systems where it’s like people are curious, but yet they really don’t want to actually proven right because they don’t want to believe that somebody else has abilities that maybe they don’t have that causes them to feel inferior or different, which is not the case and most likely is the case that they have abilities they just don’t recognize that this their their abilities yet. Right. I guess what would be your what would be your thoughts back on? On how on what it is it holds? People back in the scientific community from embracing more of the metaphysical or paranormal?

Simon Duan  36:25

I think people are educated to believe materialism. The science the development of science actually reinforced that science actually new to metaphysical positions. But so far, the science has focused on the material phenomena. As I said, as you said, it has to be repeatable, publicly verifiable, has to be.

Sunshine   37:01

less so. Simon, I think this might be a good place to how you define like, let’s just make sure that all of our listeners understand where we’re using the word science. What is it? What is your perspective on that? Because I think you’re touching on it right now. Right? And I just want to like, Why is it you know, that we have phenomena that can happen, you know, somebody can like we have the Catholic Church, let’s say for example, that will go out and kind of prove a miracle. And they don’t need that miracle to happen. Or, like, over and over and over again, to state it’s a miracle. Okay, right. So how is science? Right? Like how what’s what’s your definition of science? Like, how are people supposed to be looking at science here, as you’re you know, talking about and explaining some of these topics today.

Simon Duan  37:52

Sun is is a methodology actually, science has to do with observation of the universe. And come up with hypothesis and then test the hypothesis and to improve the hypothesis and develop into a theory and find application. It’s a process, it’s a practice. So, depends what you are observing. You can have different hypothesis. Yeah, so far in last four years. We have been trying to sort of focus our attention to materiality only. Yeah. Now for the hypothesis we come up is only materially the stick hypothesis. So

Sunshine   38:56

I’m gonna hypothesize that I put these two chemicals together properties that they’re going to react in this way. And then I’m going to put them together just so that folks can hear that I’m going to put them together. I’m going to record how they actually responded, you know, and I’m going to keep doing that to see if it responds the same way each time. And if it does, now, I’ve taken that hypotheses, I’ve turned it into a theory and I’m going to see how that theory applies, how I’m gonna, how I’m gonna apply that combine chemicals to future use. That’s what we talked about science. It’s this methodology of observation and application.

Simon Duan  39:33

That’s right. Yeah, and so if you start with observing different phenomena, and you have a different data, yeah. And based on the data, you can build a new so what we’re doing is on the science of spirituality or science of consciousness is actually

Sunshine   39:59

adopting by observing.

Simon Duan  40:10

New Science, yeah. No theoretical framework. Yeah. But back to the Graham’s question, because so far in the last 400 years, we have been focused on materiality and science has been successful based on the theories which has been established through observing the physical universe. Therefore, it gives people the impression that those theories are tools. Yeah. And actually, all theories or models, they are not reality. Yeah, they are. theoretical frameworks, help people to understand thing, in a certain way, make sense of the things in certain way. They’re not necessarily the truth. However, people have been sort of intoxicated through education. Actually, this is what actually happens, and therefore, they reject anything which doesn’t fit into the theory, yet they refuse to believe anything, which, which doesn’t fit in into the theory. Yeah. So instead of going back to the beginning, and start with observation, they reject any observations. So in Parapsychology research circle, we have a terminology we call, we call those Sai. Si is paranormal phenomena, we call it some of those high strange phenomena of a high strangeness and those phenomena are highest strangeness is one of the diff definition is most people refuse to believe because it believes so materialism is actually believed system now, for many scientists, for the mainstream academic community. So

Sunshine   42:25

and I would, I would guess, Simon, you know, one way to identify, folks, right, you know, because I think I think most of the folks that would listen from an audience perspective to the podcast, are gonna understand what you’re talking about, but they may run across people that don’t or they may be in circles of people. And these are gonna be the people that are like, I will only believe it when I see it. I will only believe it when I see it. Like, you know, the skeptics. So to speak. And so there becomes a there’s a lot of health around skepticism. Yeah, right. But how does how does an individual balance that like, you know, where they are healthily skeptical, right? But not not to the point. They’re close to people that instead of being in this healthy skeptical will shut it down and just say like, nope, until it’s like clear as day and I can see it and I can hold it or taste it and feel you know, I don’t believe it. So how would you respond to those folks when it comes to especially when you’re we’re talking about the science here of these things? How does how does it how do you respond to those people?

Simon Duan  43:44

Well, I’m no longer trying. I used to try to convince people and persuade the people. But then later I realized actually those people I mean, they are here experience material reality, okay. So they are not prepared to pray to that boundary. If you only want to play certain games you want to keep inside that comfort zone is yeah, if you don’t, you are not prepared to go beyond it. You’re not adventurous. I think most people are here actually. To experience the material reality and experience is, yeah, if they are here to experience ignorance is no way to actually change that. Yeah, to be fair, I think this kind of phenomenon actually belongs to minority people. Yeah. And

Graham Skidmore  45:07

which phenomenon, the minority, the ones that believe in the larger view or the or the smaller materialistic view

Simon Duan  45:16

more people is those two adventure beyond the material realm.

Graham Skidmore  45:23

Oh, I thought you’re about to lift me up after your after you were bring breaking my heart because what you’re talking about is I don’t think people realize what a when science stops becoming curious and is afraid to discover because it doesn’t want to shatter that narrative that it created at one point in time. it stifles innovation and invention, it stifles evolution, and essentially right and you start to actually experience de evolution. Right once people stop using their brains. That’s, you know, that becomes atrophy too. And so what you’re talking about is an even scarier thing, which is the scientific community becoming afraid to be curious and discover and adventure. Right? And I’m seeing it happens more and more, right. I think maybe more than in the western than the Eastern so I guess would do you feel that do you see that to wind or do you share that?

Simon Duan  46:19

Yes, yeah. Also, however, I think we are progressing as well. Especially with consciousness study. Yeah. You mentioned earlier that the consciousness subject, not only for spiritual people, for esoteric people, and also for scientists now, because the advancement of AI the consciousness itself, to become a scientific subject. So mainstream science, actually looking into the consciousness, therefore, consciousness actually will trigger this subject that will trigger the abandonment of materialism eventually. Take time to go through this process. But I think this subject will trigger the awakening of more and more scientists. Yeah.

Graham Skidmore  47:37

Do you want to share some stuff Simon, let me share with you a stitch I’m being pushed. You know, my call it like as are my higher self because sort of whatever you want, right consciousness is pushing me to share this with you. So part of my work in writing, breaking mold and building bridges, right. He’s working with consciousness and demonstrating, right what’s what’s possible as many people do out there and all kinds of people demonstrate different things right we all have our different skills and so the there’s that whole prove it to me community, my friend who happens to belong to that prove it to me community, who is who is curious about cat or claims I’m just gonna I’m gonna now claims to be curious about consciousness. And so I’ve been trying to move them along to engage me to help them along in this like, you know, I like something that I understand better than than you let me let me help you to figure this out. And so one of the pieces of information to help them prove it right as people like to say, and this was that I ran across an article and in that article, it said, hey, the defense community or somebody I can remember what it was anyway. was working with remote viewing and asked me if I gave all this group of people the task of identifying the 10 digits that were being displayed, right. And so there are different people that displayed various digits, but nobody was able to get all 10 So I said to my friend, okay, you asked her, I told you the demonstrations will happen, as the universe decides I’m to and so here’s an opportunity for demonstration. Here’s the 10 digits that were that are displayed, and they happen to be displayed in a flip pop clock format on a computer screen, right? That’s what I see. So if you are interested in really exploring this consciousness all you have to do is ask this group of people is this person’s guess, you know, correct or not? If it isn’t, then I’ve done nothing different than anybody else. And but But what happens if I am correct? What happens if I do get all 10 of those right? How could you not explore that? And then and of course, this goes back to So do you think that the curiosity took over and said, Wow, what an amazing opportunity. I can’t let me look. Let me run this over by these guys. Or do you think it became well oh, well, you got to prove some psychic abilities to me before anything or right, the fear cap, you know, jumped into play that was in the curiosity went away, and didn’t really want to explore, right? And so it’s very interesting once people are faced with their beliefs being really like that, how they react, and so I guess so that would that kind of happened to me over the last 24 hours and really give you a sad face. Right? Because to me, right, and I guess living my real situation, to say hey, you just, I guess, how do you not let that bum you out? When somebody wants to be curious, you give them a tool to help their curiosity and then they reject it now? Yeah. Like, I’m not I’m just kind of bummed out right now. And I’m trying to pull myself out of it. So you know, I welcome any advice

Simon Duan  50:58

I think accepting Yeah, what what, how about people? Ah, it’s a good attitude. I used to try to convince people persuade the people and now I just Yeah, carry on what I do. You have a spectrum, spectrum of people. Yeah. Spectrum attitudes. Yeah. You will meet different people with different backgrounds and different belief system. If you can help them to expand their horizons, that’s fine. If you can’t, you just have to accept that. That’s who they are at this moment in time. Yeah. Maybe a few years later. They will change. Yeah. The science also going to be developing.

Sunshine   51:57

Yeah, Simon, I’m curious how you respond to this. So like what we’re talking about in this in this space, whether it comes to consciousness, spirituality or esoteric practices, they tend to tend to be sometimes kind of what you were talking about the phenomena like it’s it’s random sometimes it’s, it’s not it’s, it’s not always able to have the consistency right, the repeatable consistency. And so you know, even when you’re like describe writing, or your friend, their grandma in my head, I’m going like, there is this piece of, I wonder if his response Oh, well, we’ve got to put controls in place. Right. And because it wasn’t in this controlled environment, I can. How can we address this whole you know, when we’re talking about these topics of spirituality consciousness or esoteric practices and their own randomness, with that kind of like scientific mind, like how, how do you approach kind of that piece? Because, you know, we can’t, we can be in the scientific process. Right? can have that methodology so to speak, but we, you know, this phenomena that we’re talking about is not things that you’re going to just be able to observe in a lab and it be be able to trigger over and over and over again, so how do you how do you approach kind of that, that thought with, you know, for example, if Graham’s friend here really shut down his curiosity because you know, it was this material

Simon Duan  53:45

Yeah, controlling is the condition which so far the materialist adult rigorously in order to build up theory. However, the repeatable controllable phenomena is only a subset of natural. Yeah. So it’s only a very small proportion of all natural phenomena. Yeah. For science. To develop a further you need to Expand your horizon to embrace phenomena which are not always repeated. Yeah, you have a die off 400 years of work on those controllable experimental phenomena. And now it’s expanded. Yet another reason why people cannot accept it cannot accept the psychic phenomena is because there has been lack of theory. Yeah. The lack of explanation. So one of my work is actually trying to establish a theory which can explain all those phenomenas Yeah, if you have a theory, you can explain it. And then it’s easier for people to accept it. Yeah. So far, it hasn’t got a very good theory to explain all those phenomena. Therefore, people think it’s impossible. If it’s impossible, it’s a fraud. Yeah. So those are the attitudes. Once we have a theory able to explain this and the same. We expand scope of science to embrace phenomena which are not repeatable, not controllable. And that’s the way to go.

Graham Skidmore  56:03

It’s faith. The one question that I really ended this to tap into this right, to the point of curiosity and wanting is is that just as cool as accurately providing those 10 numbers would be is the fact that unlike the other remote viewers, I wasn’t given any coordinates. I purely pulled this out of out of the connectivity of everything, right? That’s really where it’s that’s kind of where it gets into there. Okay, science How about this when you explain explain it to me explain me to me, because I just did this. You said it can’t happen. But it did. Right. And so also, I guess, I guess what I would say is, if you if anything that can help you along in your studies as well please let me know. I just want to you know, while we’re while we’re there, this door is open. There, it’s not easy to find. Mines that want to explore both right? They want to understand that spirituality science. Use spirituality to challenge science to gain more knowledge to keep us moving and evolving. Yeah, certainly. anything I can do to help you to continue your your work to evolve humanity and its understanding of itself, and most and also importantly, to empower the individual. Other thing that’s important about consciousness and being able to tap into the abilities and the things of consciousness is that it supports individuality not conformity, which you know, is challenging to some, and I’m okay with that. So you know, anything I can do to help you support individuals and stuff like that, let me know

Sunshine   57:53

Simon had mentioned, you’d kind of like connected with us that you’ve wanted to talk about spirituality consciousness and esoteric like the science of these things. Do you see these things as different concepts do you see spirituality as a different concept of consciousness as like esoteric practices? And so can you shed some light as to how you see this different?

Simon Duan  58:22

Yeah, the scope is different. As I keep saying the science has been focused on material reality. Now it’s time to expand into consciousness and looking into practice psychic phenomena, and build a new theory to unify all those actually. So that the new theory actually shouldn’t be contradicting to the existing one. That is should be embraced because yeah, it’s like what Einstein’s theory came up in React actually make Newton’s mechanics case. Yeah, so Newton’s theory is still working. But it’s a special case of new theory. Therefore, I think the new new size of consciousness is going to be a bigger theory and to aim existing materialist size theories. Yeah. So this new theories should be based on the consciousness so in my model, so it’s okay to talk about Yes, yeah,

Sunshine   59:46

I let me I want to touch base so when I think of you can clarify before we jump in into that Simon, when I’m thinking of like them working together like not rewriting right. So for some of you gravity, right, because you you mentioned Newton, right. So gravity, right. The theory of gravity would disprove right now in essence, right. Any kind of, like the ability for levitation to happen right, like levitation cannot exist, like somebody cannot levitate two feet off the ground in, you know, a cross legged position, meditating, it just is not possible because of the theory of gravity. What you’re saying is as science, you move forward and steps into these spaces of spirituality, consciousness and these esoteric practices. It would it would adopt a theory that both encompasses the theory of gravity as well as this theory of limitation and contradict each other but in actuality would work together that’s that’s what you’re saying of it will expand and continue to work with what has already been defined.

1:00:53

Exactly. I mean, karate is a special case. Yeah.

1:01:07

Consistently. But it can be changed. How? Every program? Yeah, so you may care. This universe is a matrix. Yeah. And in this matrix the are written as a program. Yeah, so gravity is one of those rules written in a program for Yeah, so the apple Well, Apple photos. It’s falling at 9.8 meters. per second square, and not 9.8 meters per second squared is a parameter in the program. Yeah. And if you can actually change that program, or sustain that span

Simon Duan  1:02:23

Yeah. So if you cannot check, that program cannot suspend it. gravity works as normal in most cases. Yeah. But if you can actually alter it, a can actually other things can happen. Yeah, back to the teleportation I mentioned, moving one object from one place to another. I did a lot of experiments in China. We logged this guy in the lab in a room. We stripped him out completely, even the underwear. Yeah. And he managed to teleport some money into the room where he was. Yeah, so But why have a think about it? If it’s a matrix Yeah. The location of our object is set of data coordinates x y Zed Yeah. In a space. If you can, if you can change that data, and then the location will be moved to another one.

Sunshine   1:03:53

I love that you’re talking about it in this perspective. And you might not know this, and I don’t know that all my listeners, but for almost 20 years of my life, I’ve been a software product manager. So I have literally helped build software. And so I’m like picturing in my head literally, the adjustment and the manipulation of code and things of that nature to make to make the adjustments so I love that you’re describing it in this fashion.

Graham Skidmore  1:04:17

Often referred to society as top down bottom up programming as well. You need the both and you know so yeah

Simon Duan  1:04:31

it’s a programming it from a bit. Yeah. As the famous physicist, John Wheeler, put it precisely concisely it from bit everything physical is information on the nice, yeah, information is more fundamental. And information is expressed as zeros once it’s close. So that therefore, everything can be explained even the photography Yeah, here’s

Sunshine   1:05:03

here’s a weird weird we really weird question. I’d love your perspective on this Simon. So, I in my early 20s, I stumbled across the philosophy of X essentialism. Right, which is this belief that kind of like my own, my reality is mine and it only exists. So what this would state is kind of in the example that we’re talking about, that my own set of programming that not only is applied to me, but to my entire reality, right, and how somebody else would witness My reality is not does not matter their way that is their reality, right? So is in your model, are we in one big gigantic matrix together all as like an individual, like individual programs within that bigger programming? Or is it more than that kind of kind of existential type of way where we each have our own? So you know, I know you want to introduce kind of the computation model and I’m super curious. Which perspective does it go down?

Simon Duan  1:06:11

I think each one of us have that our own universe. So that’s eight billing universes knowledge. But you and Miss Universe coincide with a same set of program.

Sunshine   1:06:35

Yeah, yeah. I would agree with you. That shares very close to my own personal philosophy and belief.

Simon Duan  1:06:42

Yeah, that’s right. Yeah. So most people share a same program. It’s like a you play a game. Multiplayer Game. Yeah. You share that set of game play according to the rule. But some people, they can actually get out in the game. And yeah, do some modifications locally. personality. So those people who actually cut out the matrix so they can get into the programming level? Yeah. So they would have a different program. I think those people are achievers, the leaders. Maybe some of them actually, but I think some people actually exist at multiple levels in existence. Yeah, in my model. The coarseness is a multiverse with many parallel universes. At the top, you will have this consciousness and the consciousness create this computer. I call it platonic computer it’s not a physical computer. It’s a platonic computer. And this computer, then operate at a different clock speed. And at each clock speed. It renders a level of universe so it’s a multiple parallel universes created by this non physical platonic computer operating at a different clock speed, you have a different update rate. Yeah. And you have a different refresh rate. And thus you create a different vibration frequency of that level. So it’s like we are programming. Another level reality we call it virtual reality. We use the physical computer to create a virtual reality, which is another level of reality. Yeah, but because it’s a parallel to us

Sunshine   1:09:18

it’s got this like mind blown, you know, like, every now and again, these conversations just get these tidbits right. So it I don’t I don’t know what kind of religions you study, but you know, in the Christian religion, you know, there’s this like, you know, God everything has been made and like God’s image so to speak. And so of course, you know, we were in God’s image of the virtual world that’s just exactly what you know this concept of God did right created this virtual but physical world. So yeah, that was yeah, of course, of course, we would go down that path to create a virtual reality, you know, this other reality that exists of existence. I’m just watching the mirrored effect, just, you know, over and over again.

Simon Duan  1:10:05

That’s right. Yeah. So we’ll produce another level of reality as virtual reality and one level above us create this physical reality. Yeah. So, we actually, as a as a beam, we exist at all levels of reality. But some of us only operate in single level. Whereas some people actually operate multiple level, they are awakened at the higher level, using more terminology that

Sunshine   1:10:44

is Yeah, because I myself exist at

Simon Duan  1:10:51

a low level of the customers, they have access to the machine access to this platonic computer, which renders this reality and therefore, they are able to interact with the machine. And they can modify the code, modify or change the parameters. So that gave them ability to change the reality of this physical it’s like a we can reprogram the virtual reality game. Yeah, we can add to some modifications, and that virtual reality word will change. So similarly, the level above us has a computer. Yeah. If you can access that computer and change this reality. How to access this computer, at the level above, your higher self, has to be awakened has to be active. So that’s basically the cosmology. My model describes. God create this computer and use this computer to output multiple levels of universe until they reach to this level. All spiritual traditions have this binary concept, actually. Yeah. In our Abrahamic tradition, including Christianity. God created this light Yeah. Let that be light. And next thing is actually to separate light from darkness. So we have binary back light Yeah. In Hindu tradition, you will also have this Brahman, you have this not cool, no problem. It’s so cool. No problem. It’s also a binary. Yeah, one with attributes without attributes. So we have a binary have or have not Yeah, any Buddhist tradition, you have this sciatica, which is emptiness. Yeah. And you have this lobata which is the subsist substance. Yeah, concept. abstract concept, which are opposite. In Taoism tradition, you have this style. And then you create this in and Yong Yong. Opposites. polarity, which is the balance Yeah. This is binary. You can create this machine. Yeah, because computer basically, it’s on off switch of two states. on off switch, it will build a computer with the switch also. With this binary you can build a database. Yeah, data is a made of zeros quants consists of zeros ones. So you can make a program the program in machine language is also zeros once. So once you have this zeros once you have a binary compute the machine built database, you can build the program so each one of us actually create the universe by downloading certain programs from and we create this reality or we share the same game and we play this and this model is the only way I can think of to explain all those psychic phenomenon paranormal phenomena this

Graham Skidmore  1:15:18

so there’s a weird parallel so there’s a there’s the by the way, I there’s I agree with there being an intelligent design and things and being and people’s ability to identify the patterns and lateral laws governing all that kind of stuff, right so I’m with you just for the record. So you know, when you’re saying stuff I’m tracking with you, the concern that that I have when people start going down the path of like simulation theory and things like that is that they’re distilling down and distilling away the spiritual aspect of the universe down into ones and zeros and is ready for that is just waiting for humanity to jailbreak it and it’s and that’s what the goal is, is to not have spiritual evolution, but to have technical evolution by learning how to jailbreak the universe, as opposed to experience so how do you kind of think about Yeah, and how do you balance that spirituality

Exploring the Bridge Between Science and Spirituality with Simon Duan

Sunshine   1:16:26

I know it seems like same thing I’m running through my head Simon because there’s a lot of folks like when I hear you, I you everything that you describe I get excited about but there’s this piece of me that says when when we often talk about spirituality, we talk about the mysteries we talk about the unknown, we talk about faith and belief, right? It’s these very theory kind of like you can’t really it’s not tangible, you can’t touch it. And you know, some of what you’re describing sounds like a material science around these spiritual type of topics, right, these esoteric these vary in on tangible topics. And there might be some folks out there to kind of Graham’s point that are like, don’t take my spirituality from me Don’t take my, my belief in these, the unknown and, you know, my belief, my faith, don’t take me and make it into something tangible. So how, like, how do you approach like, What is your response to that?

Simon Duan  1:17:38

I mean, ultimately, it’s a spirituality. Yeah. And it’s this. People call it different names. God, or Brahman, or Tao. So that’s the starting point. Yeah. But But so far spiritual tradition has been very Viq. About the creation happened. Yeah. Maybe people prefer to keep it as a mystery. Yeah. That may be give them a sense of Oh, sense of unknown which is attractive. But for scientific, educated people, they demand they demand a model, which explains how Yeah, I’m coming back. To how I define science. Science actually answer questions like how? Yeah. So severe tradition doesn’t talk about the how

Sunshine   1:18:47

the No, it talks about why

1:18:50

and so yeah, it attracted many people want to keep it as mystery and which I can understand it. I’m awful other group of people was explaination how that now four modal helps them to answer those questions. Oh, actually, this this high spirituality created the universe. Yeah. And if you gave them mechanism, they can understand the how the process happens, then it helps them to approach God. Yeah, having said that, I mean, models are not reality. Okay. Yeah. I’m not saying this is the truth. This is just the model to help people to make sense of the process. So so this modal, they can actually go to the spirituality which the spirituality Yeah, actually, it’s the love. Okay, which which is the only one all of us shares? Yeah. So,

Sunshine   1:20:06

so if I answered some of these folks that we were talking about in the beginning, I got to believe I got to see it to believe it. Right. And there might be let’s say, we have a million of those folks in this world. And let’s say half of those folks are in the I’ve gotta see it to believe it camp because there’s no model for them to believe in otherwise. And so part of I think what you’re saying is this module, we’ll start to take people from this locked down, I’ve got to see it, to believe it and move them into this. Oh, this path of curiosity maybe where they are more open to possibilities which then take steps them into a spiritual path. And you know, kind of I think what you’re saying gets them a step closer maybe to their higher self their you know, whatever that may be.

Simon Duan  1:21:14

Both it’s a tour Yeah. Why once you cross the river, you can Abend the boat, you don’t need it. So for some people, they need a boat. Yeah, it’s not like that. Once you see it, I believe it. Not actually accurate because many people even when they see it, they don’t believe it. Yeah. Yeah, that’s fine. They think Oh, it’s a trick. It’s a magic. It’s, I’m a tricked, so they want them believe it. Yeah. So if you have a model to explain all those it helps them to accept, to expand and then eventually, they will realize, oh, this is the past to choose to the truth to the spirituality. Now. Once they reach that truce, and then do our thing, every theory is actually true. It’s not true description of reality, and that at that time, they can abandon it.

Graham Skidmore  1:22:29

So I got two things here. This is great. This is great. So one is one is like so I’ll give you a just a universes perspective real quick. The Universe says, Hey, I’m Craig. I have the Intelligent Design. Do you think that if I’m smart enough to build a universe Do you think I’d be dumb enough to leave to allow humanity to jail to opportunities to jailbreak power liquid they do just on Earth alone? Give me a break. It’s a fool’s errand. Anyway, that’s just you know, that’s that that part but the other part about the Oh, walk me through this because I because this is an important part. And I really appreciate you being honest and check on the spiritual community that you know that things are meant to be not necessarily known. But you also can’t expect everybody to live in darkness. Right? Because I think that and I would agree with you, right. I think that’s part of that. That, that that veil of darkness was never meant to be there, right. That’s something that’s acquired over time people in power, blah, blah, blah, right. So getting rid of that is a really important thing. And so I don’t what definitely not the way my mind works, but I believe that there’s a lot of value in what you just said that want to figure out how to be a part of the solution which in when you say helping, give like when you helping people to understand how things were created. Right? Right. Like I’m trying to understand this. So I can use my ability to tap into information to assist in in providing these types of things and furthering this conversation. So yeah, what kind of stuff could be helpful for me to provide if I could,

Sunshine   1:24:16

let me share a perspective that popped into my head when you said things are created? I don’t know. Like, I think when you say how things are created, you have to get into the answer the question of why in order to do that, I think what this model is talking about is how things are operating in a real time fashion, not not just how was created, because how things are I do think starts to you start to build get into that spiritual question of why when you talk about how things are created, but if you want to discuss just how our our Multiverse is operating in the here and now that that to me, is what I think Simon was was sharing, right? I mean, that’s my personal perspective that popped into my mind if you want to talk about how we all were created at that particular point. You can’t have that discussion without getting into the why is created in the first one.

Simon Duan  1:25:16

Yes, that’s right. First of all, we

Sunshine   1:25:28

assumption we’re all operating off of your assignments.

Simon Duan  1:25:31

Yeah, yeah, that’s right. We all pretty on the notion of Intelligent Design. And was this intelligent design? We need to answer for some people. How Yeah, how did this intelligent actually designed it? Yeah. So one answer is actually to create this computer in the wrong in this could could. Yeah, another question is why? Yeah. Why does it design like this? So the answer is actually it’s the infinite creativity in wants to create. Yeah. And to express its creativity. Yeah, to diversify a bit because the ultimately God is the absolute city. Yeah, in Buddhism tradition, it’s called the emptiness void. There’s no content and to express but it’s a potential creativity. To express that creativity, you need to diverse from simplicity to multiplicity. Yeah, you need to process diversification and process diversification. You need to create all those images. Yeah. And those images. So far, the most convenient tool for creating images is computation. So this is one of the ways people can understand Oh, yeah, this is how it’s being created. If there’s spiritual computer operating. Yeah, but I can understand for some people they want to make it mister mystery make it a miracle. So poor for scientists that they want to demystify everything. So I think this model serves that purpose. If we accept this intelligent design, yeah. What we express intelligence is actually use of tools. Effectively the use of tools that’s how human differentiate from most animals Yeah. Allow ancestor start to using stones as a tool. So to design to making to use is expression intelligence. So

Graham Skidmore  1:28:26

when continents be considered like control groups

Simon Duan  1:28:35

Sorry, I’m always What do you mean by continents?

Graham Skidmore  1:28:38

Right. So the continents so we talk about like an intelligent design demonstrating things to tools right. So where humanity right so humanity looks at Earth and says we have the seven continents that people live by? Right? Yeah, yeah. And intelligent design would say, or could say, hey, we have seven different experiments that we started and the way you could create the original control groups was to separate things through the borders of water. Therefore demonstrating, you know, their tools and use of an intelligent design. I guess that’s what I’m asking is like, is that what you’re saying is when people want to think about how would then, you know, if there is a Creator or a creation, how would they have demonstrated their intelligent design? Well, that would be one like that would be an example. Of it using weather and dig in geology and things like that to change and to offshore and right there would be the using them the landscapes in my following that I guess or if not, please correct me so I can

Simon Duan  1:29:38

Yeah, I mean, I mean, landscape and continents and waters and all those can be rendered. Yeah, from this machine. So it provides a simple elegant solution for some people, including me. By I accepted it’s not acceptable for everyone. I mean, ministry is or is also very important. But spirituality. So what do you think?

Sunshine   1:30:21

Yeah, no, I would agree. I think, you know, I think the mysteries create a sense of wonderment and awe, which is an emotional, you know, a human emotion that I think more people are seeking. And I think that’s what drives and grant has them gravitate towards spiritualities to be able to feel the wonderment and awe in life. You know, it’s my own personal belief. That’s why That’s why we gravitate towards these topics without answers with you know, why we are curious of the mysteries is because we want to live in a life that continues to delight and surprise us.

Simon Duan  1:30:58

Sure, sure. Yeah. On the other hand, I mean, look at the creativity expresses Yeah, no matter what process it happens, even you have a sort of assumed model of pre creation, and you can still become all for all the sort of diversity and you have this physical level of reality and you have non physical level of reality. Especially lucid dreaming and you will have different reality while some people take psychedelics. Yeah. And some people meditate and some people get tremendous experience in near death, when the near time so all those experiences of diversity which themselves is already Oh, yeah. 10 cents of all is he even you know, yeah, yeah. Even you eat even the mysteries dismissed. That’s my personal feeling.

Graham Skidmore  1:32:33

Yeah, there’s there’s plenty like in like my belief, it’s not a very intelligent design. If we think that we can unravel all of these mysteries on our own. We’re gonna know what I mean. So I believe that there’s gazillions of art. So I want to, I want to encourage everybody to get curious and to continue to peel away more and more mysteries and appeal, never fearing that there’s like an end of the line that all of a sudden, oh, we get there and now we just figured it out. Right? And so in order to be able to enjoy it, too and I also believe that if if everybody if we had a more spiritual world, there would be more acceptance, more equality, greater, you know, harmony of usage of resources amongst all of us inhabitants, things of that nature, right. And so that’s why I care about this, this this question, I want to come back to it which was for that group of people that are like, hey, I need to kind of understand some more tangible information to bring myself to that spiritual path. Right? Right. So obviously, my goal is to take is I want those people that feel that way. I just want them to care about their surroundings, their people, equality etc. And so what are the types of things that didn’t need to be? What do you think we can? What are the things that we can provide? People write? What is it that they want? What is it what would be a one or two smoking guns? That would be so that would be super helpful for that audience?

Simon Duan  1:34:03

Yeah. For people they need to understand who they are. Yeah. And it’s not only this physical body at the physical level, they’re multi level beings. And eventually, we’re all one and if we are all one and that one is actually love itself, and ultimately, God is love. Yeah, it’s absolute love, and diversify that love into different forms. of love. That we experienced the creativity. And the weeks laugh between the wife and husband, Picton parents and children will experience a different diversity. Despite the laugh different forms of love. Yeah. And eventually, because we are all one that love the attraction that is from one source. If we understand that we are no longer interested in hurting each other.

Graham Skidmore  1:35:24

Yeah, we need to have well if those that want to go and in which I don’t disagree with it, but using that law of one and we need to as a collective then if we are all gonna agree that we’re one we need to learn how to treat ourselves better. We need to learn how to treat ourselves better if we’re all one because we’re not treating ourselves good enough. I love the way that you talked about that expression of love for that very reason. I think that’s great. Yeah.

Simon Duan  1:35:56

Leave this life better. Yeah. And this too seriously? If it’s a game yeah, yeah, that’s, that’s gonna relax. Yeah, and you can achieve the best results. But even if you fail, you can start again. It’s not the end of the world. Yeah, it’s a no fear. No people.

Graham Skidmore  1:36:31

No worry, but there is fear of all the other people that do take this and I know this isn’t right but Oh, and but upside. Mike again, going back to the whole game simulation and people thinking about things the game is opposed to respecting other things as their consciousnesses is that I can is that those other little consciousnesses and those other sentient beings that get hunted random or abused by humans because they don’t, because they don’t think of them as these equal. sentient beings. Right? That’s where I always take the issue of people that’s just a game. Yeah, just go let’s just throw the rabbit in. A cat over the house. It’s just a game. No. Like, that’s it. We need to introduce you, man. How do we keep humanity and compassion into the game? That’s what I was. How do we maintain humanity and inside of that game, understanding that’s that’s really what I want to understand. I love it and want to ask

Simon Duan  1:37:29

Yeah, that’s a really good point. Yeah. So it’s a serious game yeah, yeah,

Graham Skidmore  1:37:39

it’s a very sick right like I’m just I can understand right now we use the double right a game is a relatable thing is creating a vernacular we can all understand. But right as you see what happens out there. Look out desensitized people are already the people don’t need to become any more desensitized to the hurt that they spray. You know what I mean? So that’s kind of what I wrestle with is like, okay, how can we use the pop culture references to relate? But yet intimate, then how do we introduce the compassion and love of spirituality into that? So it’s the best of both worlds?

Sunshine   1:38:17

I think you have. I mean, this is like what pops into my head when you say this, it becomes the game of enlightenment. So if you go down the path of the game of enlightenment, enlightenment does not include running people over murder, killing, hatred and things of all that nature, right? I’m picturing that tree of life, right. And it’s the whole point of the game is to climb the tree of life, right? You’re going to be you know, you want to reach the state of, you know, catheter and be in the consciousness of love and, you know, compassion. From that perspective. There is no room for all of that. That low vibrational type of So, to me definition of winning the game is

Simon Duan  1:39:06

truly winning the game is transcend the key. Yes. So people can be encouraged to transcend the game to a higher self. That becomes that purpose until the Yeah, instead of just trash each other at the same level. And the I reminded, oh, it’s not just killing other people at the same level. All you need to do is to go to the higher level to realize your higher self and your process progress that way. Yeah. Why is doing this this game? You can help others to do the same. You can support them to do the same. Then we can all transcend together. Yeah. So in different levels. Yeah. It’d be open some assets up in some merit and go to the other level. If you’re just doing bad things. You’re going to be slowing down your progress. So you can totally use this as an incentive instead of just yeah, these things discourage to spirituality.

Sunshine   1:40:32

Simon, we are. We’re coming up towards the end of our time together. So I want to make sure we’ve got a little bit of time for you. The last question that I have for you is why are you so passionate about all this? We talked about how you ended up on this journey? Right? But why are you here today? You know, still passionate still talking about it sharing like, you know, like, why, why or why why are you here having this conversation? Why is it so important to you?

Simon Duan  1:41:02

From beginning to kind of solve my curiosity problem. Yeah. As a scientist, I’m bothered by things which I cannot explain. And this has been a driving force for me to find a solution. Find a model to explain all those. So it’s like intellectual, ah, I need to scratch. So that’s why it’s sort of at the beginning stage, I need to scratch this intellectual itch. And then I realized would

Sunshine   1:41:41

you describe this is your life’s purpose.

Simon Duan  1:41:45

It’s my training as a scientist. Yeah. However, once I kind of start to use this new word view, using this metaphysical position and I realize it’s actually has been beneficial to me, it’s. Yeah, and I’d become calmer and become more relaxed. I’ll be able to sort of treat people better. And I understand we’re all one. We’re co player. We need to cooperate and also I find myself because that’s a higher self. No, yeah, I’m no longer stuck in this level. Therefore, I can be more conscious of myself. And therefore, once you’re active at a high level, you’ll have active higher you’ll make better decisions life. Yeah. Making is a critical part of life. We make decisions all the time. Yeah. Including what do I eat? Who I’m going to vote? And yeah, where, where am I going to leave and who I’m going to marry and all those big and small decisions. Once you get out of this level, you can see things clearer. And therefore you make better decisions.

Sunshine   1:43:33

Yeah, when you’re working with your eyes, so it’s a lot easier to see how those certain decisions will impact you. That’s why I’m Simon. Where can our listeners find you and why should they reach out to you why might you want someone to come find you and connect with you?

Simon Duan  1:43:53

I have a website called met compute x.com And on that website, you can find my publication X account, my YouTube channel. So I love to talk to people want to develop this model further? Because it’s still being developed. And I particularly like to talk to cyclic people. Actually, as a scientist, I need to know what is unseen, unseeable? Yeah. In science, we need a lot of instruments detecting that natural reality but in spiritual practice, we also need knowledge need channel to understand what’s going on beyond physical. Therefore, my conversation with people is, especially people who have psychic ability will have spiritual practice. Is to gaining knowledge to learn from what’s beyond the physical. Yeah. For those people who are curious about consciousness about metaphysical things, and I can help them maybe to move them towards that direction. Yeah. So yeah, I like to talk to people who are curious about open who wants to explore to expand? Yeah. And then we can do that together.

Sunshine   1:45:42

Well, we will definitely make sure that we grab that URL so that the listeners that wherever they’re at will be able to see and connect. So if you’re listening right now and you want to reach out to Simon make sure to check any of the notes in the description so that you can get that link and head on over and check him out. Simon, this has been an absolute pleasure. I’ve adored this conversation so much. You are so delightful. And yeah, thank you. Thank you so much for joining us here today.

Simon Duan  1:46:08

Oh, thank you for having me again. Absolutely.

Graham Skidmore  1:46:21

curious mind, you know, for your use if, if I can ever be of service don’t hesitate to let me know how I can help

Simon Duan  1:46:29

you thank you. Yeah, let’s keep you on.

Sunshine   1:46:32

Yes, well, that you know, we’re gonna go ahead and wrap here today. And as always, you know, I hope everybody hope I really enjoyed today’s session. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Simon and you know, all of us here with you know, both Graham and I the deep spirituality Simon and you know, to all of you listeners out there, I’d encourage you always to seek and be curious about your own path. follow that path into your own deepest spirituality. Until next time, my dear friends Mark love from all of us to you.

Simon Duan  1:47:03

Thank you. Thank you.

Sunshine   1:47:09

Awesome, cool. Well, Simon again, thank you so much. That was incredible. are super fascinating. Jim and I both actively use our psychic abilities. So if you do have something that you’d like either of us to be able to help or aid with, please feel free to let us know or if you know, what, what’s your website again?

Simon Duan  1:47:33

Meta computex.com

Sunshine   1:47:38

Is that well worth a few ticks with a see Yes, see. spell it correctly.

Graham Skidmore  1:48:12

SAS there’s an S at the end.

Sunshine   1:48:13

Oh, there we go. Mister leaving an SS it’s do you do you? Are you interested in like interviews or something like that? Is that helpful? Like how would you know if you wanted us to be able to help or aid in you like how would you? Do you want to reach out to us are curious? How might we be of assistance to you Simon

Simon Duan  1:48:47

Cowell tell me a bit more actually. What psychic thing do you do? You want Graham to

Sunshine   1:48:56

um so I’m a psychic media have been I mean, I’ve had to give my entire life have actively been using them in a professional session set setting for the last four and a half years by professional meaning asking people to pay me you know in order to leverage and use those from a gifts perspective. I mean, anything pretty much in the psychic phenomena range migrating to remote viewing to literal like you know doing a reading mediumship connecting to spirits. I’ve seen aliens. I’ve gotten all sorts of messages from all sorts of different ways. You know, it doesn’t really matter what it is. Yeah, and so my guess I’ve shown up and now it’s funny, like, you know, the decision making I mean, I leveraged my connection to my higher self for practically every decision that I make in my life. Yeah, and so that’s kind of my experience. You name it in the psychic space. I’ve done it and I’ve been doing it professionally with clients. Like I said for them. For the last four and a half years.

Simon Duan  1:50:09

Oh, right. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.

Graham Skidmore  1:50:11

So you know whether you want yeah, if you wanted with a traditional Claire abilities, yes, I have those. I am able to communicate interspecies as well. Right. So what was my dog my, my squirrels in the backyard. Right? It’s, you know, it’s communicating through them. And it’s not a one to one basis. It’s more of communicating with a collective consciousness in some cases or some one to one. It’s about consciousness. And so what I focus on in like, you know, psychism and athletic skills are the same you have to you what you have is and then what you work on are two totally different things to develop. Right. you know, what I actually went on to develop though is much more of it, I would just what I would refer to as being able to tap into my expanded consciousness so the ability to access wisdom, the ability to access knowledge, the ability to access to answers, right, that type of information and being able to use that is, is much more of what I invest my time than being able to do some of the other things right. And so like some of so I’ve used that information to access Well, I don’t want to call it origin stories, but like, why are we here? The game of you know, the universal laws and things of that nature to understand. So I use my ability to tap into understand those type of items. And so how it’s come to me is nice describe Earth as a living and learning environment designed to help people created to create a decision making methodology with a conscience that operates inside of the way of the universe. Right, what’s the way of the universe being loved, right? So everyone’s got to determine has got to get asked to create their own decision making methodology with a conscience right? So therefore, like you said, the game each incarnation is a different learning iteration, right? You create your hypotheses, you say what you want to do, you enter into a contract, you take your energy and then you go into the physical plant and you try to do it right. Not everybody does it right. Some people get stuck in the in the in the distractions on the physical plane and don’t achieve their learnings and some do, right? So not everybody is operating at the same time. And so when you start talking about that, being able to share a lot of that information to be able to to create bridges for people because you’ve because you’re because you’re right, that holes that murkiness that mystery that has been has been shrouded over some of the spiritual, you know, events that’s not meant to be right and so I’m so part of my work will be helping to, you know, pull away some of that veil, but I don’t know what it is because I don’t think that way. I don’t know. I can’t relate. So I have to rely on what what would matter to others to try and understand it right. So that’s why when I say to you, Hey, what are the things that you’re curious about? You know, that I curious about that? Because then that allows me that the ability to go back and meditate, right? I ask these questions, sometimes things come to me immediately. Sometimes things take days weeks, right? Things come to me when they’re supposed to come to me right. And as answer isn’t information, but yeah, being able to minimize or eliminate eliminating that filter between this human suit and my higher consciousness is my number one focus.

Simon Duan  1:53:35

So in a spiritual circle, spiritual people don’t really like the simulation hypothesis very much yeah

Graham Skidmore  1:53:46

that’s why i That’s why it’s brick and mortar builder BRIDGES I believe in all things so that I can help to translate bring them together with people. Yeah, so anyway, so yeah, that’s That’s correct. It’s i There’s a lot of things that are uncommon about me for that reason. Yeah, the but you’re it’s one of the best ways that people can relate to, you know, as much as it is. I get sensitive about it because of the dehumanization that has kind of occurred when people you know, look at it from the game approach. And with that, and with it with technology and aliens, and if you really want to get

Sunshine   1:54:25

Graham Skidmore  1:54:27

concern from a spiritual standpoint about game theory, and about distilling the world down into a science experiment, is that what it does is it makes mankind susceptible to the first advanced civilization that shows up with some fancy gadgets. Immediately mankind rolls over and says, Oh, okay, you since you are have greater wisdom than us, you must be our gods. So okay, here we go. We’re ready to be ruled. By you now. Right, then that’s the worst possible scenario that you know, that can happen and so that’s where I always that’s where I get very concerned about that. Reducing the human aspect to the graduation of enlightenment or whatever. And I would really love the way the both of you answered that. And you know, and so if there’s anything that I can do, I don’t know, but that helps to infuse that compassion and humanity and understanding inside of a scientific object.

Sunshine   1:55:27

That matters.

Graham Skidmore  1:55:29

So, right because I’m cool, right? Like I get it. I’m happy to help the scientific community. Put some, you know, and I mean, to quantify some things, right? I’m happy to try and be a science experiment. Experiment, for the sake of advancing things right now never to replace people’s own paths, right. Like, I’m not like, you know, I’m not into the ozempic thing, right? Like, hey, we’re not here to learn how to use technology to sidestep personal progress. They should be tools to assist us with personal progress, right. Anyway, so anything Yeah, anyway, thanks for Wow, yeah, me. This is this guy. I had a feeling that today’s topic was going to be Oh,

Sunshine   1:56:09

yeah. Well, I I’ll share my perspective on that. Simon. I you know, I actually, I don’t hate the simulation theory because I understand it from a spiritual perspective. Right. And understand that it’s only fair to provide material for people to gain to gain, you know, access to their higher self. I understand the perspective that you’re introducing it by. And so I don’t mind that the game theory because also when I think about, you know, and for somebody like I’ve been opening up the Akashic records for folks, and I can see all of these various different paths and all of these various, I can see the multiverse of people. And I’m like, I can’t come up with a tangible way to understand that unless I apply some like game theory that I’m able to like restart the game and go start another path and try another way down the Choose Your Own Adventure path. Like I can’t, my my human brain can’t understand, you know, the spiritual concepts without applying this game theory to it. I just can’t like so. I love the fact that you’re putting the material into the spiritual because it’s going to allow people to ality that may not have done it if you didn’t do that. Right. I mean, that’s that’s the truth on it.

Simon Duan  1:57:40

Yeah. Thank you for your comment. I am learning a lot also from you guys. I can understand the grandmas concern so yeah, I need to find a way to actually bring more spirituality into this.

Sunshine   1:58:04
